JMT Builders, Inc is a General Contracting Company that was founded in 1996. It is owned and operated by Joe Tote and Mark Tenenbaum, who have over 45 years of combined experience in Commercial and Residential construction.
JMT has all the necessary insurance and licenses required by the State of New Jersey and JMT requires all of our subcontractors to carry the same.

We can be reached at any time to discuss any questions or concerns you may have during the construction process. "After I graduated high school in 1984, I started working in the construction field with my father. my father had a small General Contracting business that did work hands-on, doing all the work themselves. I started to learn all the facets of the building trade
In 1988 I started to work with a large commercial company. That is where I met my partner Mark Tenenbaum. During this time I joined the Carpenters Union in Red Bank. I went through the 4 year apprentice school and graduated as a journeyman. I worked for a few years with the union and while doing this, Mark and I would do jobs together.
Around 1996 Mark and I started JMT Builders together. We have the same goal, to build a company that is reliable, respected and to make the customer happy."
